Akim Nyormoi MS,OTR/L
Akim is a holistic orthopedic occupational therapist with a deep commitment to personalized care. Akim’s expertise encompasses a wide spectrum including specialized hand therapy and custom orthotic fabrication, addressing complex orthopedic and neurologic conditions, joint hypermobility spectrum conditions, and sports rehabilitation. Akim utilizes a multifaceted approach to pain management, addressing restrictions within the skin, fascia, muscles, joints, and nerves. Akim’s mission is to empower patients on their path to recovery, enhancing their mobility, mechanics, posture, and overall well-being. Akim earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Biomechanics from the University of Indianapolis in 2013. When not working, Akim enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and golfing.






Allister Brookes, MPT, ASTYM® Cert.
Clinic Director/Partner
As a former collegiate football and lacrosse player, Allister has a passion for sports medicine. He brings his active mindset to the clinic each day, helping his patients recover and return to their favorite activities, whether it’s competitive sports, hiking or gardening.

Christopher Overfield LMP
Christopher earned his license requirements through Bellevue Massage School and has been working closely with Physical Therapists in the Snohomish area for over 15 years.
His unique combination of Myofascial Release and Cranio/Sacral techniques in a medical-based massage gently allow the body to release tension for an increase in mobility and function to get you back to your daily routine.
He enjoys working with a wide range of ages from 4 week old infants to people in their nineties, as his technique is gentle enough for all ages.
Outside of the office, Christopher can be found traveling around the globe, gardening, raising chickens, playing with his two dogs and spending quality time with family.






Megan Dear, PTA
Megan Dear is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and certified group exercise instructor specializing in strength training, HIIT, cycle, small-group and youth-focused programs. She combines clinical expertise with motivational coaching to deliver safe, engaging treatment that helps patients of all ages and abilities achieve their rehab goals.
A Monroe resident for the past ten years, Megan lives with her husband and three children. Committed to community wellness, she coaches youth soccer in both Monroe and Snohomish and serves on the Monroe High School baseball boosters board.






Shelly A. DiBiase, PT
Shelly A. DiBiase is a licensed Physical Therapist that has been practicing for over 30 years. She graduated from Loma LInda University in 1989. She is ASTYM certified, emphasizes functional strength training, utilizes manual therapy techniques and Kinesiotape.
Her favorite thing about Physical Therapy is working with people and helping them achieve their activity goals. Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors and leads an active lifestyle with her family in the PNW.
